How to change outfits in Ys X: Nordics

Ys X: Nordics features a variety of costumes for each of the two main characters that can drastically enhance their appearance. The game introduces costumes fairly early in the story by providing you with a free outfit for Karja. However, you won't be able to access more outfits until later unless you have the DLC.

While these costumes don't provide any stat benefits, some of them look incredibly cool. If you haven't downloaded any DLC, you can still purchase some outfits from the in-game shops as you progress through the story.

How to get clothes

Most costumes and clothing accessories in the game can be acquired through the DLC. If you have downloaded a costume DLC, you will need to follow these steps first acquire costumes from DLC items in your inventory before you can equip them:

1. Press the main menu button.

2. Go to the Inventory section.

3. Switch to the DLC tab.

4. Select the desired DLC item and use it for get the clothes and materials.

How to change clothes

In addition to the costume, you can also equip up to three different accessories for your characters from the Cosmetics section. Once you get the outfits, you can equip them following these steps:

1. From the main menu, go to the equipment section.

2. Scroll down until you see the Cosmetics section.

3. Select the first option from the Cosmetics section and choose the outfit you want.

4. Scroll down and select the other three options besides the first one choose the outfit accessories that you want to equip for the character.

How to change ship cosmetics

In addition to the clothes for the two main characters, you will also receive different cosmetic items for your shipi Sandra, from the Sandras Pack DLC. However, dressing up the ship is very different from simply changing your characters' clothes.
