Rest 2 is back with its third DLC, known as Dark Horizon. Like previous expansions, it introduces a new adventure, this time in the world of N'Erud, allowing you to discover new secrets, meet new characters, face new enemies, face new challenges and puzzles, and, of course, encounter new bosses.
While it may not be immediately clear how to launch this DLC and dive into the experience, there is only one requirement you need to meet to access it. This guide will help you understand how to access the brand new Remnant 2 DLC, The Dark Horizon.
How to access the Dark Horizon DLC
After downloading and installing the Dark Horizon DLCyou can access it via the World Stone in Ward 13, but there's a requirement.
If you have already played the base game e completed the world N'Erudfast travel to Ward 13, the game's hub area, and interact with the Worldstone.
Select Adventure mode and then click on the option that says Relaunch Adventure Mode.
In the next menu,
swipe all the way to the right
and you will see the option for
choose The Dark Horizon DLC
.
If, by chance, you have started playing for the first time, you will need to complete N'Erud's story mode in the campaign.
Luckily, this is the first world you have to complete in the game. Once his story is finished, the steps to access the Dark Horizon DLC stay the same.
When you select the Dark Horizon DLC, a notification will appear indicating that this will be your first time playing the DLC a One-Shot adventure.
This means that during the initial playback of the DLC, you'll experience all the new content in one go.
Remnant 2's random world generation won't happen until you relaunch the DLC, so before you do, make sure to explore everything you can during your One Shot adventure as the relaunch will randomize areas, events, and the placement of certain items. Dark Horizon DLC.
