However, after becoming a social outcast for accidentally killing Bucky, she quickly met her end after the Class President made a contract with the Devil of Justice. It was after Asa lay dying that the War Devil possessed her body, transforming her into a Demon while leaving half her brain intact. Previously in Hell, Yoru and the other Four Horsemen battled Chainsaw Man, which led to him eating many of the nuclear weapons, fleeing to Earth, and living as Moltita.

It was later learned that Nuclear Weapons are children of the War Devil, as they are concepts born of war. As a result, Yoru wishes to make Chainsaw Man vomit them. However, Yoru also hopes to prove that he is stronger than Chainsaw Man, and as Asa and Yoru grow closer to Denji, they begin to make the distinction between the two.

Yoru had consistently committed to her role in defeating and finding the Chainsaw Man while using Asa to manage the human aspect of life on Earth. However, the more Yoru interacted with Asa and sensed his emotions, the more Yoru's perception of Denji began to change.
