Now, Hitman is introducing a new Elusive Target in the form of Max Valliant, a former ICA assassin played by Jean-Claude Van Damme. As 47's briefing indicates, Max Valliant was one of the group's main assets before 47's time, but he was a double agent, so the ICA had him assassinated in an explosion. However, he was presumed dead and has now resurfaced, two decades later. Valliant took over ICA's Chongqing plant for unknown reasons. Players will be tasked with escorting a council member representing the ICA, with the directive that the group wants Valliant gone for good.
When will Hitman's next elusive target enter the game?
- Players will be able to try their luck against Van Damme's character starting December 12th. The access period will be free for one month, and will end on January 12, 2025.
The duration of Elusive Objectives tends to vary: some last up to a month and others up to ten days. The most recent elusive target before The Splitter was The Disruptor, most notably played by MMA fighter Conor McGregor. Shortly after the end of the Elusive Contract, IO announced Hitman was removing all Conor McGregor content from stores in response to a sexual assault court ruling finding him guilty. While McGregor plans to appeal, his branded content is no longer available for sale, although users who have already purchased it can still access it.
While Hitman 3 it came out almost 4 years ago, World of assassins has managed to keep players engaged and interested by periodically releasing new content and challenges like these. 2025 will continue the trend, bringing Hitman on PlayStation VR2 on March 27, offering players an exciting way to test their skills at stealthily (or loudly, if they choose) eliminating their targets.
