GAZA STRIP, Palestinian Territories: The health ministry in Hamas-ruled Gaza said Saturday that at least 37,834 people have been killed in the nearly nine-month war between Israel and Palestinian militants. The death toll includes at least 69 deaths in the past 48 hours, a ministry statement said, adding that 86,858 people have been wounded in Gaza since the beginning of the war, when Hamas militants attacked Israel on Oct. 7.
