Gwyneth Paltrow’s unexpected message to Kate

Millions of viewers watched Kate Middleton join the royal family at Trooping the Color on Saturday, and even Gwyneth Paltrow commented on her triumphant return.

The Man of iron the actress commented on the Princess of Wales’s official photo on Instagram, saying: “I’m so glad you look happy and healthy.”

Previously, Goop creator Gwyneth appeared to be close to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry as they were spotted leaving the Michelin-starred sushi restaurant in Montecito in May 2023.

Royal writer Phil Dampier said Sun: “Gwyneth Paltrow is the latest celebrity to appear to be taking sides in the Wales vs. Sussex dispute.

“Meghan is said to have based her new American Riviera Orchard lifestyle project on products from the actress herself and admires her greatly, so this will hurt.

“Gwyneth hasn’t had to comment on Kate’s presence on Trooping the Color, but the fact that she does means she fully supports her and, like the rest of us, wants her to recover quickly.”

Phil added: “This comes after other celebrities such as David Beckham, who was once friends with Harry and Meghan, firmly pinned their colors to the royal mast.”

A number of A-listers are said to have “abandoned” the Sussex family in recent months, from the Beckhams to Oprah, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom.

The royal author continued: “They realized that William and Kate were real superstars and the future of the monarchy, and the thousand-year-old institution wasn’t going away anytime soon.

“Yes, the royals have their ups and downs, but they survive by adapting and by society respecting the institution, if not always the individual.

“I’m sure in time Harry and Meghan will realize that they made a big mistake by attacking Harry’s family so much, which has discouraged many people who previously had time for them.”

Kate, 42, delighted fans when she appeared in a carriage with her three children and on the balcony of Buckingham Palace with her husband, Prince William, the king and queen.

It was Kate’s first public appearance since she appeared with her family in Sandringham last Christmas.

Last week, Kensington Palace confirmed that Kate had found comfort working from home despite her ongoing battle with cancer.

He is expected to hold further meetings with staff from the palace and the Royal Foundation and Early Childhood Center in the coming weeks.

These meetings will be included in a court circular, which details all official work of members of the royal family.

The princess’ spokesman said the palace would only provide updates when appropriate during face-to-face working meetings.

And while Kate has announced that she hopes to “join some public appearances in the summer,” the palace has not yet announced or confirmed where she will appear next.
