Genshin Impact has officially revealed Yumemizuki Mizuki as Inazuma's 5-star Anemo character, ready to make his playable debut in version 5.4. With version 5.3 which should conclude the Natlan storyline, Genshin Impact is preparing its players for a little adventure in Inazuma in the next update. Its flagship event will take place in Inazuma and will largely revolve around yokai, with Yae Miko taking center stage.
Mizuki inside Genshin Impact is heavily rumored as a playable character from late 2024, with many leaks indicating that he will become Inazuma's first standard Banner character. The beta for version 5.4 confirmed Mizuki's Standard Banner status, but also revealed his ability kit and intended role. As a 5-star Anemo catalyst, Yumemizuki Mizuki can be seen as a premium sucrose with healing abilities. While there are niches where Sucrose excels over Mizuki, his flexible role should give the new 5-Star a place on most Taser teams.

A recent leak from Genshin Impact suggests a new character-focused event coming to the game during the upcoming version 5.4 update.
The official Genshin Impact account revealed Yumemizuki Mizuki on Twitter a week later than expected, as drip marketing continues to be wildly unpredictable since version 5.3. Although Mizuki was known for a while to be a tapir yokai, drip marketing revealed that she was a psychologist and majority owner of Aisa Bathhouse. Mizuki appears to be an old friend of Yae Miko Genshin Impactand as such, Mizuki is very likely to make his presentation during the flagship event. Having said that, Genshin Impact players can also expect a Story Quest for Mizuki in version 5.4.
Genshin Impact: Yumemizuki Mizuki
- Title: The embrace of enchanted dreams
- Rarity: 5 stars
- Vision: Anemo
- Weapon: Catalyst
- Constellation: Somniator Tapir
In terms of event banners, version 5.4 is expected to feature Mizuki and Wriothesley in the first half of the patch, with Furina and Sigewinne leading the second half. It should be noted that Mizuki will be folded into the standard banner in Genshin Impact after version 5.4 and that collection-oriented players should instead focus on obtaining its signature weapon.
While version 5.3 is packed with content, version 5.4 is significantly smaller in scope. It will only contain one new character Genshin Impactone story mission, no artifact mastery, and won't have any new map expansions. Therefore, the number of Primogems that players will be able to obtain in version 5.4 is lower than average. Unless they find a Chronicled Banner character in version 5.3 particularly appealing, players should try to save their Rite of the Lantern rewards for version 5.4, especially if they want to get Fontaine superstars like Furina or Wriothesley.
