Developer Massive Entertainment has just released update 1.2 of the title Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora along with the game's new expansion pack. This happens about a week before Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora marks its first anniversary.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is an open-world adventure game based on the popular science fiction film series created by director and philanthropist James Cameron. Since its launch on December 7, 2023, the Ubisoft-published title has received numerous updates that have added features, improved the game's stability, and fixed various technical issues. The latest of these is no exception, having introduced another region and provided, among other things, a long list of bug fixes.

PlayStation 5 Pro support:
- 60 FPS Quality Mode: The game will run at 60 FPS using Quality Mode on Playstation 5 Pro
- Increased Internal Resolution: Improved hardware performance allows the game to achieve both higher FPS and higher rendering resolution, resulting in increased resolution in certain scenarios.
- PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR) – Integration of the new machine learning-based PSSR temporal upscaler, which uses the new ML hardware of the PS5 Pro, offering better quality and performance.
