Ice Spice is the latest music artist to take over Fortnitewith the game introducing a brand new area inspired by the 4x Grammy nominee as part of the third week of Chapter 2 Remix. Shark Island has become Ice Isle, a neon-soaked paradise ripe for exploration. Additionally, Ice Spice serves as the inspiration for several new weapons and items, making the latest update for Fortnite one that players won't want to miss.

Fortnite has undergone significant changes, not only over its lifetime but particularly in 2024, with the incredibly popular free-to-play shooter finding itself between its massive Marvel season and the start of its next chapter. To fill this gap, Epic Games has released Fortnite Battle Royal Chapter 2 Remix, a short season of content inspired by some of the world's biggest music artists. Players can access a remixed version of Fortniteof the Chapter 2 map, which has received weekly updates and updates since the remix began earlier this fall. Now, the remixed Chapter 2 Island is changing once again, this time with viral rap star Ice Spice taking over as a point of interest.

The Fortnite team announces a delay for the game's widely anticipated new cosmetic option, Kicks, originally scheduled for November 12.

As part of week 3 of Fortnite Battle Royale's Chapter 2 Remix, players are invited to visit Ice Isle, a location inspired by famous rap artist Ice Spice. Ice Isle takes the place of Shark Island, arriving equipped with Y2K-inspired decorations scattered throughout an abandoned mall. The area has an “eerie” aura, according to developer Epic Games, to which the studio has added several new elements Fortniteit's an ever-expanding arsenal. These new items are also inspired by the rap artist and include the Ice Spice Grapple Hook and Ice Spice Shotgun, both of Mythic quality.

Week 4 of fortnite'Chapter 2 Remix will be released on November 21st and will focus on Juice WRLD, an artist who conquered both the rap and pop worlds in the late 2010s. Juice WRLD had a very brilliant but short career, passing away in 2019. In giveaway, a free Juice WRLD skin will be added Fortnite at the end of the game's Chapter 2 Remix, with players soon also being able to visit Juice WRLD's new “WRLD Point” landmark. All this comes as Fortnite is approaching the highly anticipated Chapter 6 update, which is scheduled to launch within the first two days of December. Fortnite Battle Royale Chapter 2 Remix ends November 30 at 10pm ET.
