Firebreak is launched to mixed reviews on the steam due to the “lack of content”

Remedy's games have always represented the highest quality. Since 2001 Max Payne, the study has produced a burst of successes, including Alan Wake and Alan Wake 2, control and even the quantum break.

It has the classic formula and the modern approach.

His latest game, FBC: Firebreak, diverted by the formula tried to the company's single player, however, and the reception by online players was almost certainly not as the remedy would have hoped. The game was launched in “Mixed” reviews on Steam and faced a burst of other complaints in the online forums such as Reddit.

FBC: Firebreak starts a difficult start

FBC: Firebreak is the version of Rimedy Entertainment on Left 4 Dead. It is a multiplayer cooperative FPS in which players revisit the oldest house of control, fighting on waves of enemies under the control of hiss. Conceptually, it looks like a winner. The world and the control setting were praised in the release of the 2019 game and, with the quality seal of the remedy, should have been a winner, but with less than 24 hours under the belt, many do not feel like that.

The game currently has 60 % positive reviews on Steam, leaving it with the “mixed” indicator of the platform. His detractors have cited a lack of content, including “only five maps, three weapons, three classes and six enemies”, like his biggest fall, but the complaints around his hasty sensation and at the high price also presented themselves. Some of the positive reviews on the valve -owned platform are also mixed in tone, with one that says the game “could use a little more of time cuisine” and another that adds that it is “probably too expensive”.

Firebreak does not explain its mechanics and goals at all.

The complaints continued on the FBC: Firebreak Subddit. This time, many have opted to focus on the confused opening hours of the game. One comment said: “The first game I played, all three were wandering trying to understand what to do. We were dropped to a level without context or knowledge of anything, and suddenly we were burning to death while Firebreak does not explain its mechanics and objectives correctly.”

This comment was part of a wider thread in which many players invited the remedy to include an “introductory mission that gives players the context for history, instructions for the realization of objectives and practice with completely updated weapons and kits”.

In our official FBC: Firebreak Review, we echoed many of the concerns shared by the game of the game, marking it a 3.5/5. We said: “Firebreak is clean, but it will only take one night or two to see everything it has to offer. There is not enough here to justify the cost, especially when my other games have limited time events, and I would so much lose you.” Currently he is at a 65 on Metacritic and 67 on OpenCritic.

The team of FBC Firebreak players remained together

On the launch day, FBC: Firebreak also fought to obtain traction on Steam. According to Steamdb, the game peaks with less than 2,000 players on the platform. This is probably less worrying for the remedy, however, as was launched on Xbox Game Pass and as part of the free playstation plus games.

These are the first days for Remedy's latest title and the company clearly involves supporting him for a while, releasing a roadmap for the game last week, but has a little way to go to go around this initial feeling of the player.
