The director of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth recommends the PC version for its lighting options
The PS5 version of Rebirthwhile visually and technically impressive, it has had some snags from fans, including unnatural lighting in some areas, with patches only making the problem more noticeable. In particular, some frustrated users have commented on how the areas appear so incredibly bright that it turns fans away from the experience, especially when switching from an indoor area to an outdoor area.
Even with the PS5 Pro improvements for Final Fantasy 7 Rebirthfans are asking Square Enix to fix these lighting issues. One fan notes that the improved lighting should not be limited to the PC version and that the developers should address the issues on the PS5 platform as well. Only time will tell if the PS5 version of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth will receive some post-launch patches to address this particular complaint.
