The reason for this has to do with the incredible and unexpected lore revelations that have changed the basis of everything fans previously thought about the ancient world, as well as revealing information about key players as the series officially enters its final saga .
One of these revelations had to do with the mysterious characters that fans have been seeing since chapter 1134 of One piecewhich was just confirmed to be Gods' Knights, despite fans already believing that to be the case. The one whose name was finally revealed was Gunko and many fans believe that she has some sort of connection to the mysterious ruler of the world, Imu. So, let's take a look at what this could mean.

Of course, the possible connection that Imu and Gunko share arises from a rather forced theory. While the true extent or nature of his powers is currently unknown, everything that has been seen is strikingly similar to Imu's power and many think it is quite close to Doflamingo's ability granted to him by the Devil Fruit Ito Ito no Mi.
Gunko's mouth is completely wrapped in bandages, and chapter 1136 shows that he has the ability to create something similar to these bandages from his arms. The reason these powers have caught the attention of fans is because the shape at their end is an arrow, which is very similar to the dark attack that Imu used to kill King Cobra and wound Sabo during the Reverie arc. Both of these characters can apparently form an arrow and control it away from their body, twisting and turning it with incredible speed and maneuverability.
This has prompted some fans to wonder if there is a direct connection between the two. Given that Imu is essentially the leader of all the Celestial Dragons and one must also be a Celestial Dragon to be a Knight of the Gods, some have gone so far as to think that Gunko might just be Imu's daughter, which has a bit ' reasoning behind it. considering that she is present on Elbaf, accompanied by Garling's probable son, who could actually be the Supreme Commander of the faction.
However, that's probably not the case, since she was shown to take orders from Shanks' twin, which wouldn't make any sense if she was the daughter of the most powerful person in the world. In contrast, the other, and more likely, theory is that Gunko is probably the person who is shown to be present in the Chamber of Flowers, delivering news and bowing to Imu. It seems that no one below the Gorosei and the Knights of the Gods knows of Imu's existence, so she may be a likely candidate for this role.

Where does Shanks' twin fit into all this?
The new supreme commander of the knights of the gods
As of now, it's all but confirmed that the person accompanying Gunko to Elbaf is Shanks' twin/clone, raising the question of where he might fit into this equation if Gunko and Imu were directly related. He is likely the new Supreme Commander of the Knights of the Gods following Garling's ascension to the rank of one of the 5 Elders, making his son the most likely candidate to take up his former mantle.
When Gunko made his full revelation in chapter 1136, he began choking the giant wolf and even suggested killing Loki on the spot for his insolence. However, Shanks' twin lowered the level of his arrogance, stating that he shouldn't overdo it. Seeing how she didn't take advantage of the situation and let Loki live despite his wishes, it can be seen that her authority supersedes his own, meaning she can only perform actions if he approves them first.
Don't overdo it, Gunko.
For this reason, it is very likely that Gunko has no direct connection to Imu and that Shanks' twin is most likely the new Supreme Commander of the Knights of the Gods, a theory that most fans already believed. After Imu and the 5 Elders, his word carries more weight, making him the greatest authority in the entire World Government after the two previously mentioned.
