The Finals: How To Play With Friends
A well-formed team is essential in The Finals. Here’s how to add your friends, and how to toggle crossplay.
The battle pass is one way for players to unlock various customization options. As you play the game, you can level up the battle pass and unlock different rewards per level. For season one, 25 of these rewards are free, but you can unlock the rest of the battle pass by purchasing the premium battle pass.
How To Buy The Premium Battle Pass In The Finals
In order to unlock the premium options in the battle pass, you’ll need to upgrade to a premium battle pass.
In the battle pass menu, click on the Buy Premium Battle Pass option. From there, you’ll be taken to the Premium Battle Pass menu, where you can choose from two options:

How To Level Up The Battle Pass
Each level in the battle pass requires 9,000 XP to complete. You can level up your battle pass in three ways:
- Playing Quickplay matches
- Playing Tournaments
- Completing contracts
Playing Quickplay matches is great for swiftly earning some XP. It’s not that rewarding when it comes to XP, but it’s the quickest way to get it if you’ve done all the contracts already. In Quickplay, you can either pick Quick Cash or Bank It.
Tournaments will reward you with more XP, but these take longer to complete compared to Quickplay games. These play out in a tournament-style game with eliminations after every match, so you’ll have to invest more time in order to get your XP reward. For both Quickplay and Tournament, winning will merit you the highest possible XP reward.
Contracts are your key to quick XP for your battle pass. There are daily and weekly challenges that you can complete, and the weekly challenges offer huge XP rewards. Contracts include challenges you’ll need to complete in-game, such as stealing a cashout in progress from an opponent.

If you want to quickly level up your battle pass, you should work towards completing all your contracts. These are the quickest ways to earn a chunk of XP. You should also participate in tournaments in order to gain more XP while playing the game.
You can level up your season one battle pass for the duration of the season, which runs from December 7, 2023, to March 12, 2024.
