The deal is live right now and available to anyone in the market for a new Series X. Still retailing for $499.99, the promise of a premium triple-A game with your purchase is effectively the same as a price reduction. Xbox Series X

Launched in 2020 in conjunction with the Xbox Series S digital-only console, the Series X is the disc version of Microsoft’s premier gaming platform.

While it certainly isn’t a kneejerk reaction to what PlayStation is up to right now since a similar deal by the Xbox rival only popped up over the weekend, it’s certainly a good time to be someone who has been holding out on buying a new-gen console. PlayStation is currently running something it has dubbed the Upgrader Program. Anyone with a new PS5 can claim one of 12 games, most of which are console exclusives. How far back the deal applies hasn’t yet been revealed, but if you recently bought a PS5, it’s worth checking to see if you’re eligible.

If you were one of the lucky ones to make it to the end of a virtual queue during those darker days and found gold at the end of the next-gen rainbow, perhaps you’re in the market for a new fridge instead. The Series X mini fridge was not only back in stock at Walmart recently, but it was on sale for better than half price.
