Every Card Revealed For Disney Lorcana

The dust has finally settled on Disney Lorcana’s The First Chapter. We’ve discovered the world of Lorcana, met the glimmers, and mastered the six inks. Now it’s time for Rise of the Floodborn, Lorcana’s second set, to shake up what we thought we knew, and delve into the backstory of Lorcana’s most mysterious characters, the Floodborn.

Here is every Amber card revealed so far for Rise of the Floodborn. The ink is focused on playing lots of characters and finding ways to reward yourself for it, so we can expect lots more songs like Zero to Hero, or cost-reduction like on Mickey Mouse, Friendly Face.

Amethyst

Lorcana RotF Amethyst

Amethyst is one of Lorcana’s two control-focused inks, along with Emerald. Purple is more focused on lore and improving your own board state, with cards like The Sorcerer’s Spellbook that offer a safe, easy way to generate lore for just one ink each turn.

Emerald

Lorcana RotF Emerald

Emerald is the ink focused on dissuading your opponents from challenging your characters, and nothing typifies that better than Rise of the Floodborn’s Belle, Hidden Archer.

Forcing your opponent to discard their entire hand to get rid of a scarily powerful quester could make Emerald the ink to watch in this set.

Ruby

Lorcana RotF Ruby

Ruby marks the debut of Raya in Lorcana. The card itself isn’t anything to write home about, but we’ll likely see more from the world of Kumandra as previews go on.

In the meantime, Ruby also gets some card draw at long last, with Dinner Bell letting you banish a character you own in exchange for drawing for each point of damage it’s taken.

Sapphire emerged as one of the strongest inks in The First Chapter, thanks to its ramp and card advantage capabilities. Rise of the Floodborn looks set to continue that, if Gaston, Intellectual Powerhouse and its card filtering is anything to go by.

Developed Brain: When you play this character, look at the top 3 cards of your deck. You may put one into your hand. Put the rest on the bottom of your deck in any order.

Steel

Lorcana RotF Steel

Steel sees a whole new keyword added to its repertoire, with Resist. Resist reduces how much damage a character takes, meaning cards like Tiana, Celebrating Princess and Cinderella, Stouthearted simply can’t be removed by characters with two or fewer Strength.

It also makes them completely safe from cards like Grab Your Swords, which could be enough to make Resist a huge part of the upcoming metagame.
