CAIRO: Annual consumer price inflation in Egypt's urban areas fell to 25.7 percent in July from 27.5 percent in June, a faster rate of decline than analysts had expected, the country's statistics agency CAPMAS showed on Thursday. On a monthly basis, prices fell 0.4 percent in July, down from 1.6 percent in June. Food prices fell 0.3 percent in July, though they were still 28.5 percent higher than a year ago.
