Bandai Namco and Dimps have released a new Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 trailer for the Future Saga expansion, featuring the next DLC chapter focusing on the Gods of Destruction Dragon Ball Super. Eight years later Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2the game is still supported to this day. Dimps and Bandai Namco periodically update the game with free updates and paid DLC, adding new playable characters and transformations. One of the biggest content updates is a new game-exclusive storyline, focusing on the villainous Fu.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2The four-part Future Saga expansion focuses on Fu, a villain who has traveled through time and experimented with Dragon Ball's story to create numerous What If scenarios. These range from Tapion coming to Future Trunks' aid in Goku's Dark Saga, to giving Vegeta the Super Saiyan God form before he reaches it in the series' timeline. Fu's time travel experiments continue in chapter 2, where he is messing around with the characters Dragon Ball Superparticularly the Pride Troopers and the Gods of Destruction.
In this new teaser trailer for chapter 2 of the Future Saga, Fu pitted Toppo and Dyspo of the Pride Troopers of Universe 10 against three gods Dragon Ball Superthe Gods of Destruction: in particular Beerus, Champa and Belmod. Goku himself also somehow gets involved, where he must fend off an energy blast that could destroy the planet, leading the Gods of Destruction and the Pride Troopers to band together to fight against an enhanced Fu, who can somehow match them all.
The future Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 saga teases the ultra supervillain Jiren
The trailer also teases an Ultra Supervillain form for Jiren, the same transformation that Fu granted to Goku Black and Vegeta in Chapter 1 of the Future Saga. The Ultra Super Villain form gives Jiren a pinkish aura, turns his irises the same color, and has a crystal protruding from him. The trailer teases Jiren and Fu teaming up to battle the protagonist of the player's time patrol, along with a battle between Ultra Supervillain Jiren and Super Saiyan Blue Goku. Towards the end of the trailer, Goku enters his Mastered Ultra Instinct transformation, ready to face Jiren and stop his out-of-control power. No release date has been given yet for the second installment, other than that it's “coming soon.”
Given that Xenoverse 2 still receives post-launch DLC characters today, such as Super versions of Videl and Android 18, the game content will not be slowed down anytime soon. 2024 promises to be an exciting year for Dragon Ball fans, with the highly anticipated Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero, Dragon Ball Daima anime and now a future update for Xenoverse 2 soon.
