Issa Al-Qarbi, a vegetation expert, highlighted the role of this programme in developing environmental awareness: “These participatory events in the Al-Qahar Mountains are crucial for preserving our natural resources and developing vegetation cover.”

Al-Qarbi described the region’s diverse terrain, including high mountains, deep valleys and unique rock formations, as an attraction for both tourists and adventure seekers.

“These mountains are famous for their dense vegetation consisting of various species of trees, shrubs and wild plants, making them a paradise for nature lovers, ecologists and people seeking unique ecological experiences,” he added.

The Al-Qahar and Al-Raith Mountains have a relatively temperate climate compared to the surrounding coastal areas, making them attractive destinations during the summer months. The area boasts wildlife and birdlife, as well as picturesque waterfalls and flowing streams.

In addition to natural attractions, this region is home to traditional mountain villages that allow you to get to know the local culture and lifestyle.

The combination of natural beauty and cultural heritage makes the area an ideal destination for those seeking a combination of adventure, relaxation and cultural discovery.
