Crunchyroll President Rahul Purini announced during the Sony Group Corporation press conference at CES 2025 in Las Vegas on January 6, that a new digital manga application will be released on iOS and Android that will allow Crunchyroll members to access an extensive library of beloved manga. titles.

Purini also followed up his announcement with some thoughts on the opportunity presented by Crunchyroll's next manga app, which he described as soon to be “a first online manga app bringing catalogs from renowned publishers” and a venture that will “strengthen partnerships” with aim to add more value to your Crunchyroll membership.
