Best Weekly Bosses in Genshin Impact

Genshin Impact is known for its unique and engaging character Weekly boss fights that tie directly into the lore. While these enemies have significant significance in the game's story, they have also become household names when it comes to the pinnacle of Genshin Impact combat system. These weekly boss fights are released sporadically, making their arrival a great feature in any update.

These unusually powerful enemies feature unique and captivating abilities, majestic arenas, and beautiful soundtracks that truly promote their status as enemies not to be trifled with. As of today, there are ten weekly boss fights for players to challenge, each offering a thrilling experience.

10 Dvalin Storm Terror

Former King of the Skies

Dvalin Storm Terror

Dvalin Storm Terror has the unfortunate honor of coming in last on this list. The very first weekly boss introduced in the game alongside Andrius, the Dvalin boss fight has not aged well over the years. It's simply too easy of a fight these days thanks to a plethora of available characters that can easily take care of Dvalin.

Even casual players with a relatively decent team should have no problem defeating Dvalin. While it is a visually beautiful boss fight, the ridiculous difficulty and lack of skill expression make it the least interesting weekly boss in the game.

9 Andrio

Master of the wolves

Andrio

As mentioned earlier in the list, Andrio He is the oldest weekly boss in the game, along with Dvalin, having been released in version 1.0. Much like Dvalin, Andrius' difficulty has plummeted over the years. The Dominator of Wolves is nothing more than a DPS check these days, one that can be easily defeated by a half-decent team.

The arena, the soundtrack, and Andrius's stature make this an interesting fight. However, he is very easy to defeat and the boss fight should take no more than two minutes for most players.

8 Child

Eleventh of the Fatui Heralds

Child

Child was easily the hardest boss fight when his Trounce Domain was released in version 1.1. It was so difficult for players at the time that HoYoverse adjusted the difficulty of the boss fight. Since then, the Childe boss fight has been one of the easiest in the entire game. Almost any team can defeat the Eleventh Fatui Harbinger with little to no problems.

One of the good things about this fight is that it's a traditional 1v1 with very few moments where Childe becomes invulnerable. It's a classic and simple friend-foe duel, but that's the best it has to offer, as it pales in comparison to other weekly bosses of a similar nature.

7 Guardian of the Apep Oasis

The Wrath of King Dendro

Guardian of the Apep Oasis

Guardian of the Apep Oasis is one of the game's newer weekly bosses, released in version 3.6 as part of the second chapter of Nahida's narrative quest. The arena this fight takes place in is gorgeous, but the battle itself is more boring than enjoyable.

A good half of the fight is spent dealing with the mobs that threaten the revitalization of the Heart of Oasis. Once that’s done, the second phase of the boss fight begins, which is nothing special. It’s one of the weaker designs in terms of boss fights and doesn’t bring anything new to the table.

6 Azhdaha

Sealed Lord of the Vishaps

Azhdaha

Azhdaha It is one of the most majestic boss fights in Genshin Impact. The great soundtrack and intimidating presence of Zhongli's former friend make the battle very entertaining. However, a major problem with this boss fight is the number of times Azhdaha can become invulnerable, forcing players to wait.

Additionally, Azhdaha has a very limited moveset despite being able to utilize various elements. All of these factors make Azhdaha the only sixth best weekly boss in the game, despite being one of the best looking bosses in terms of visuals.

5 Eternal Lord of Arcane Wisdom

Shouki No Kami, The Prodigal

Eternal Lord of Arcane Wisdom

The Eternal Lord of Arcane Wisdommore commonly known as Skirmishis easily one of the biggest weekly bosses in the game. While the first phase of this boss fight is nothing special, the real challenge starts to kick in during the second phase.

Scaramouche is capable of summoning powerful attacks, including a one-shot ability that players will need to respect. However, this boss fight has a unique feature where the Neo Akasha Terminal will constantly damage Scaramouche.

Additionally, much of this boss fight is spent running around dodging attacks, with the Neo Akasha Terminal doing most of the work in terms of damage output. The Scaramouche boss fight is a great spectacle that is ruined by its largely non-interactive nature.

4 The Lady

Rostam's Beloved

The Lady

The Lady is a very well-designed boss fight with two distinct phases. The first phase features the Sheer Cold mechanic, while the second phase sees The Lady transform into the Crimson Witch of Embers, complete with a new set of fiery moves.

Both stages feature excellent music and a rewarding moveset to duel against. Signora also has minimal invulnerability in both stages. This boss fight is one of the best designed battles in the game; a perfect example of simplicity yet effectiveness.

3 Narwhal devourer of everything

Surtalogi's pet

Narwhal devourer of everything

If the fight against the boss of La Signora was simple, the showdown with the Narwhal devourer of everything It's anything but. Fighting this behemoth of a creature that's constantly flying around is a bit annoying, but the sheer beauty of the beast and the arena makes up for it. While it doesn't have the best moveset out there, there's a sense of grandeur when fighting the Narhwal.

The second phase is the main reason why this boss fight ranks so high on the list. The otherworldly dubstep music and the extremely cool design of the Shadow Warrior inside the Narwhal make it an intense 1v1. When you combine both of these phases, third place on this list seems like a fair placement for the All-Devouring Narwhal.

2 The Knave

Father of the hearth house

The Knave

The Knave secures the second spot on this list, as it is an extremely simple yet efficient duel. There are no complicated mechanics to worry about; it is simply a test of strength, set by the Fourth Fatui Harbinger Harlequin.

The first phase isn't particularly impressive, but Harlequin still has some spectacular moves. The second phase, where Harlequin becomes the Cinder of Two Worlds' Flames, really ramps up the intensity of the boss fight. Harlequin can deal ridiculous amounts of damage and wipe out characters in an instant if players aren't careful.

However, it's still a fair fight, as dodging correctly and finding windows to deal damage can eventually knock her down. For these reasons, the last weekly boss in Genshin Impact It's also one of the best.

1 Magatsu Mitake Narukami No Mikoto

Raiden not Inazuma Tono

Magatsu Mitake Narukami No Mikoto

Magatsu Mitake Narukami No Mikoto, or the Raiden Shogun boss fight, it's still the best weekly boss in Genshin Impact, and has been since its release in version 2.5. The unique setting of the fight, the two phases and a plethora of moves make it a very engaging and fun battle. The rock soundtrack, with the leitmotif of Inazuma, further contributes to the overall atmosphere of the fight.

Both phases of this boss fight have a wide array of moves that make them stand out from the rest. This was the first weekly boss to introduce a one-shot mechanic, and it is one of the most breathtaking visuals in the game.

Almost everything about the Raiden Shogun boss fight is executed to perfection. It also manages to strike a perfect balance in terms of difficulty, making it a very accessible weekly boss for all players.
