The benefits of teamwork have just been mentioned Dead in daylightbut their future already appears uncertain due to some circumstances. Of course, not all benefits are included Dead in daylight will be relevant in the meta. Considering the huge amount of benefits, this would be impossible. However, Teamwork perks have some drawbacks that hold them back compared to almost all other Survivor perks. At the very least, they have some problems that need fixing; in the worst case, Dead in daylight may no longer offer Teamwork benefits.
Introduced in Dead in daylightWith the Tools of Torment update, Teamwork perks are one of the rarest types in the game, with only two existing so far. These perks are Teamwork: Collective Stealth and Teamwork: Power of Two. It should be noted that both of these perks came out with Tools of Torment, with no other Teamwork perks introduced since then. Seeing as it's been over a year since teamwork perks were released, their place in the game may be in a shaky position.
There are also only two Invocation perks, and not only are the Invocations newer, but the second one was released in the last chapter.

Dead by Daylight's two teamwork advantages present some major problems
Dead by Daylight's teamwork perks are tricky to use
A major flaw in Teamwork's benefits design Dead in daylight are the activation requirements. Collective Stealth requires the user to be healed by someone else, while Power of Two requires the user to successfully heal someone. Not only that, but the effects of the benefit remain active only as long as the user and the other person involved remain close to each other. The actual effects – hiding scratches and a haste bonus, respectively – are decent, but not strong enough to make up for the steep requirements. Currently, both Teamwork perks are completely outclassed by other perks with similar effects.
The benefits of teamwork need reworking to be more efficient
You may need to do some serious rework Dead in daylightThe future so that the benefits of teamwork become relevant. Specifically, both requirements combined are too restrictive. One possibility is for the perks to activate a temporary buff that isn't limited by proximity, while another option is to have a similar effect to Dwight's Leader perk, with a good effect that only works within a small radius to balance it out. Future benefits of teamwork, as well as reworks of the first two, may take this into account. This way, they may have a chance to become more widely used.
Survivor lore may make it more difficult to find new teamwork advantages
The benefits of teamwork face another obstacle unrelated to gameplay, and that's the backstory of Dead in daylightThe survivors. The survivors who came with the Teamwork perks, Renato and Thalita, were brother and sister and it makes sense that they would have at least one perk focused on working together. Another benefit of teamwork would likely require another pair of survivors or a survivor who has a past history involving teamwork or having close bonds with others. Otherwise, such an advantage might seem out of place. It's an unexpected complication, but one that makes Teamwork perks rather difficult to assign to new Survivors.
Between Dead in daylightof, are probably the most overlooked because they don't stand out in any way. They are not numerous, and any niche role they might have is overshadowed by less situational advantages. That said, future teamwork benefits will definitely need a change in design to make an impact Dead in daylight.
