Barbie Ferreira put on a bold display over the weekend when she turned heads on the red carpet in Italy.
The 27-year-old TV star, who played Kat Hernandez on two seasons of Euphoria, appeared in the film Masters of Light – From Vienna to Milan exhibition during the star-studded Milan Fashion Week on Sunday evening.
Ferreira showed off her figure in a silver dress with a deep neckline.
The actress dripped in crystals from her latest collection, adding drop earrings, rings, bracelets, a necklace and a choker, all adding to the glamorous ensemble.
Meanwhile, with recent rumors about Euphoria returning in the near future, one star we won’t be seeing is Ferreira, who filmed two seasons of the show before shocking fans by announcing she wouldn’t be returning for season three.
There were many rumors about why she would be leaving the show at the height of its popularity, but Ferreira finally set the record straight Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert Podcast last year when she left because she felt her character wasn’t developing in a way she felt comfortable with.
“I think my character, who I love so much, has no place for her to go. I think she could have gone to certain places, but I don’t think it would fit the show,” she said.
Ferreira also bravely admitted that she didn’t agree with the character she wanted to play.
“I wanted to be able to not be the best fat friend. I don’t want to play that and I don’t think they wanted that either,” she said.
She also said she didn’t think series creator Sam Levinson was able to relate to her character.
“He writes about things he identifies with. I don’t think he’s related to Kat. I like Kat, so I can follow my own path,” she said.
New season Euphoria was significantly delayed, but reports emerged this month that most of the main cast was officially set to return for the show’s final season.
