In 2014, Lionsgate made a huge impact around the world with the release of its first John Wick films, captivating audiences and redefining action cinema. The film defied all expectations and turned out to be a huge success. Without any guesswork, the production company took advantage of it and turned it into a franchise that has already grossed over $1 billion at the global box office. As fans wanted John Wick more and more, the production company decided to expand the universe in an extraordinary way and came forward with the film Ballerina, which stars Ana de Armas in the main role and promises to bring the franchise to a completely new level. Recently, the film shared a small action-packed clip which makes it clear that the film will definitely be a ride full of several thrilling action sequences.

Although the reports of Dancer being a disappointment turned out to be false, the film still has big shoes to fill. Recent Lionsgate releases, including Megalopolis AND Borderlandsthey proved to be major failures at the box office, causing the production giant to lose a lot of money. As a result, Ballerina becomes really important to them and they would like the film to be successful in all areas. More, John Wick the films set a benchmark for how action films should be made and if Ballerina doesn't follow in the same footsteps, it could prove to be another disaster for Lionsgate. However, Stahelski's assistance to the producer and his team could definitely make a difference.
