All Week 10 Seasonal Challenges

Destiny 2’s Season of the Witch has released its final set of Seasonal Challenge. During the first ten weeks of a new season, Bungie releases a weekly set of time-sensitive Triumphs that award massive sums of XP and Bright Dust when completed. Players looking to complete their Season Pass or build up a large stockpile of Bright Dust will want to complete these whenever possible.

The final Seasonal Challenges are fairly easy to complete, requiring you to land Sword kills, Primary weapon kills, and complete Throne World content. We’ll cover all six challenges added this week, give exact reward amounts, and provide tips on how to complete each challenge as quickly as possible.

Greatsword Logic

Destiny 2 Season of the Seraph Hive Knight Boss

Greatsword Logic: Defeat bosses and minibosses anywhere in the system. Earn bonus progress by defeating Headless Ones in Haunted Sectors during Festival of the Lost.

Reward

Greatsword Logic requires 100 boss and miniboss final blows to complete. While this requirement seems high, any yellow bar enemy grants progress. Champions, Lost Sector bosses, and most tough enemies in endgame content will grant progress. The fastest way to finish this is by farming Haunted Sectors during Festival of the Lost. Headless Ones grant bonus progress and spawn up to 15 times per run.

Hive Eradicator

Destiny 2 Eris Morn As Hive God

Hive Eradicator: Defeat Hive anywhere in the system. Earn bonus progress by defeating Hive in Season of the Witch activities or in Haunted Sectors during Festival of the Lost.

Reward

Defeat 300 Hive enemies to finish this challenge. Any activity grants progress here, although you’ll receive bonus progress for slaying Hive in Savathun’s Spire, Altars of Summoning, or Haunted Sectors during Festival of the Lost. We recommend farming Altars of Summoning to get this done quickly. If your encounter doesn’t spawn Hive, restart the mission.

Throne World Activities

Destiny 2 The Arrival Savathuns Throne World

Throne World Activities: In the Throne World, complete bounties and earn progress by completing patrols, public events, and looting Lost Sectors.

Rewards

Throne World Activities will track activities you complete in the open world—Lost Sectors, public events, and patrols all grant progress here. Speak to Fynch and purchase Throne World bounties, then farm Lost Sectors. Equip weapons and subclass elements that match the bounties you purchased, then clear your favorite Lost Sector. Repeat this process until the Seasonal Challenge is complete.

Mean And Green

Destiny 2 Strand Fireteam Fighting Tormentor.

Mean and Green: Get final blows with Strand weapons or abilities in the Crucible.

Rewards

Defeat 25 Guardians with Strand damage to finish this challenge. This must be done in Crucible playlists, although the game type doesn’t matter. We recommend Mayhem or Momentum Control whenever they’re active to get this done quickly. Both playlists are in the rotating pool, so you might have to wait for either game type to appear.

As for dealing Strand damage, your best bet is to use Quicksilver Storm with its Catalyst. This morphs the AR into a Strand weapon, complete with Tangle generation with its grenade alt-fire. Some other good options include Round Robin, Final Warning, Cataphract GL3, and Perpetualis.

Bring A Sword

Destiny 2 The Lament Exotic Sword

Bring a Sword: Get final blows with Swords. Earn bonus progress in Haunted Sectors.

Rewards

Despite the name of the challenge, you don’t need to play Gambit for this challenge. Bring a Sword requires you to land 80 Sword kills in any activity. Any activities with high enemy density, such as Savathun’s Spire, are recommended for completing this quickly. As for Sword recommendations, you can’t go wrong with Lament or Heartshadow.

Primary School

Destiny 2 Sunshot Hand Cannon

Primary School: Get final blows with Primary ammo in ritual activities. Earn bonus progress for Submachine Gun, Bow, or Scout Rifle final blows or by defeating Guardians.

Rewards

  • 50,000 XP
  • 150 Bright Dust

Defeat 200 enemies with Primary ammo weapons to complete this challenge. Any weapon that uses Primary ammo will count for this challenge, including archetype anomalies such as Fighting Lion. Some good weapons for this challenge include Trinity Ghoul, Huckleberry, Sunshot, and Quicksilver Storm. Most Exotic Primary weapons will trivialize this challenge.
