All quantum characters from Honkai: Star Rail, ranked

At the beginning of the game, Quantum is one of the most important elements in Honkai Star Rail and having at least one Quantum unit can make a huge difference. While characters like Seele and Qingque still aren't at the top of the charts, even after dozens of updates, you can still take advantage of their abilities in battle if you build them correctly and pair them with trusted companions.

Quantum remains a powerful choice and even building a mono-Quantum team can prove fruitful in different scenarios. These units can apply Entanglement on enemies to delay their actions, which is a great way to get ahead in battle, especially in long or difficult fights.

8 Xueyi

Path: Destruction

Destructive characters can be a gamble, and Xueyi certainly caught the short straw. She must be paired with other characters with high breaking effect to reach her maximum potential, otherwise she will just be an obstacle. He can also work in a follow attack team, but Xueyi is no one's first choice, as there are many five-star units with better kits.

Since his Ultimate only targets one enemy, you'll get much better results with other Destruction characters. Furthermore, his next attack doesn't really make a difference, leaving Xueyi behind.

7 Lynx

Path: Abundance

As a four-star healer, Lynx is very similar to Natasha, and you can get both for free just by playing specific parts of the game. Lynx's most important abilities are his Skill and Supremacy, as they are the ones that can heal his allies. Thanks to his talent, using them will continue to heal a teammate for a couple of turns.

Lynx is pretty basic for a healer and can't offer any other buffs for his allies unless you unlock his Eidolons, so he shouldn't be your first choice.

6 Qingque

Path: Erudition

During the first few updates, you could see Qingque landing at both ends of the tier lists thanks to the randomness of his gameplay and his Eidolons. Qingque can be a very powerful DPS, but this comes at a high cost in terms of all your SP (skill points). You have to be very careful who you pair Qingque with.

However, you can avoid this if you unlock all of his Eidolons. E6 Qingque can recover one SP after using his ability, which can turn into unlimited power.

5 Jade

Path: Erudition

Both Jade and Qingque are Path of Erudition characters, meaning they specialize in dealing damage to multiple enemies at once. However, while Qingque is a four-star unit, Jade is a five-star character with better overall stats and damage.

In addition to dealing more DMG to enemies, Jade can make an ally the debt collector, to increase their SPD and trigger her next attack. This gives her more chances to attack and at the same time improves her critical DMG, but at the expense of her ally's HP.

4 Seele

Route: The Hunt

The first ever limited banner character in Honkai Star Rail has been at the top of the meta for a while thanks to his SPD and DMG outputs. Seele can take an extra turn immediately after defeating an enemy, which changes the game. Even though other DPS characters can deal much more DMG than Seele, she is still a powerful ally.

The only downside to Seele's kit is that he needs all of your team's attention, so you should choose the rest of your units based on his needs.

3 Silver Wolf

Path: The Nihility

While other Nihility characters can be powerful damage dealers, Silver Wolf excels in other areas. She can apply various debuffs to enemies during battle, making her a great companion for units like Acheron.

However, his ability can also implant several weaknesses in enemies for a couple of turns. This means you don't have to worry about type matches as long as Silver Wolf is by your side. And although the ability is random and can sometimes backfire, it still makes Silver Wolf one of the most versatile characters.

2 Fu Xuan

Path: Conservation

Fu Xuan remains one of Honkai Star Rail's best supporters, even though she may not seem right for the part at first glance. His passive abilities increase the maximum HP of his allies and keep them safe from crowd control debuffs. So while you may not see Fu Xuan healing his allies too often, he keeps them in shape, so you don't have to.

Additionally, his Matrix of Prescience distributes all DMG received, so your characters are less likely to receive a killing blow out of nowhere.

1 Spark

Path: Harmony

Since Honkai Star Rail is a turn-based combat RPG, characters that allow players to do more with their actions are best at keeping up with the meta. Sparkle debuted in the Penacony update to bring madness and mystery to the main story and is still the most useful Quantum unit.

This is because he can also boost the DMG produced by his allies with his ability and his passive. Being the only Quantum support character makes Sparkle unique and extremely versatile for all types of teams.
