Eclipsed, Rainy, Stormy, Flooded

Offense can be characterized by its arid environment and sprawling yet decrepit industrial complex. While its appearance to Experimentation is identical, in no way is it as simple to explore. The entrance to the facility lies farther away from the ship than most maps, making navigation confusing at times since the terrain all looks the same. The primary enemies found at night are Baboon Hawks and Eyeless Dogs, the latter of which poses a much larger threat due to the map size.

Offense also has difficult-to-reach fire exits, making them virtually useless for a team that doesn’t have a Retractable Ladder. This moon also has one of the more difficult areas to navigate in the event that the moon is flooded upon landing. This is due to the large open and relatively flat area around the ship.

7 Assurance

Difficulty

Possible Modifiers

Easy

1x

Eclipsed, Stormy, Flooded, Rainy

Similarly to Offense, Assurance is a wasteland with a large exterior region. It has a smaller exterior than other maps and is classified as Easy in terms of difficulty. The indoor portion of the map can carry up to 17 pieces of scrap scattered throughout the interior. Monster spawns are typically very limited and aren’t as big of threats as some other moons.

The fire exit on Assurance can be a pain to reach since it requires parkour on a pipe or an extendable ladder. The biggest threats on this map come from the combination of Eyeless Dogs and a smaller area to maneuver outside. It can be easy to bump into the dogs as they patrol, so careful movement is a must. During other events, it’s relatively simple to reach safety since your ship is nearby.

6 Vow

Eclipsed, Stormy, Foggy, Flooded

Vow is a lush forest that feels very easy to get lost in. It’s a rather unpopular choice for most people since the danger level is considerably higher than the average loot amount within the facility. This, coupled with the large exterior, makes it mostly an unfavorable spot to go scavenging.

Adding to the unfavorable conditions is a bridge that’s liable to break after being used for a certain amount of time by multiple employees. Under the bridge is a dried-up riverbank that leads to the map’s fire exit with a path that leads back up to the start of the bridge. The forced detour means more time spent getting back on track instead of having a straight shot from the ship to the facility. When the Forest Keepers spawn at night, the detour can mean death for anyone outside who’s unlucky enough to be spotted.

5 Rend

Hard

1.2x

Stormy, Eclipsed

Rend is extremely difficult both inside and outside. Being that it’s one of the three Hard moons available, it provides an adequate challenge for all levels of employees. The moon is covered in a constant blizzard, making navigation nearly impossible without utilizing the outside light posts that lead a straight line to the front door.

Rend is also incredibly difficult inside the facility, where it takes on the form of a mansion rather than an industrial complex. The mansions are very large and full of dangerous entities thanks to the moon’s increased spawn limit. For those of you looking to head to the subzero moon, be prepared to pay a hefty sum of 550 credits. Once you’re there, deploying multiple times doesn’t require more payments.

4 Dine

Hard

1.3x

Flooded, Eclipsed

Much like Rend, Dine is also found to be in a constant blizzard and requires you to follow the light posts to reliably find the front door. The most common entity encountered in the mansions of Dine is Jesters. They’re seldom seen outside of the Hard moons, so it’s a good opportunity to encounter one.

The best things to bring on an expedition to Dine are Walkie-Talkies since it’s difficult to communicate effectively in the blizzard. It’s also good to have some on hand in case you get separated from the group in the giant interior. The cost to visit this frozen wasteland is a whopping 600 credits, so be sure you’re stocked up on supplies and cash before visiting.

3 Titan

Hard

2.35x

Stormy, Eclipsed, Foggy

Titan is the ultimate test of teamwork and coordination. It reigns supreme as the hardest moon in the entire game, with a risk rating of S+. The exterior is relatively simple to navigate, unlike Rend and Dine, since there’s no blizzard obscuring your vision. The moon costs a mind-boggling 700 credits to travel to, indicating that the moon is reserved for only the best of the best.

Titan boasts the highest loot count, with a max of 38 pieces of scrap available to spawn inside the absolutely massive facility. It’s also the only moon where the Masked can be spawned naturally. This poses an immense threat since it’s likely you’ll approach a Masked entity believing it to be a friend, only for it to kill you. The spawn cap of entities is also the highest in the game, meaning you’ll likely encounter plenty of foes as you try to escape with your loot and sanity intact. It doesn’t get much scarier than being the last alive on Titan.

2 Experimentation

Easy

1.0x

Rainy, Stormy, Eclipsed, Flooded, Foggy

This was likely the first moon you visited in Lethal Company, and it remains a great choice among new and returning players. Despite its low loot count and low entity spawn cap, it serves as a great introduction to the game and its mechanics. The outside map is relatively small, with a large elevated area around the door.

This makes it easy to scope out the terrain at night to easily avoid the Eyeless Dogs. The map isn’t very easy to make a good amount of credits on since the maximum amount of loot is 12 bits of scrap, but it can come in a pinch when you only have a small gap to close in order to meet the quota.

1 March

Difficulty

Modifiers

Intermediate

2x

Stormy, Flooded, Foggy, Eclipsed

March is the best moon available in Lethal Company due to its great balance between risk and reward. The map is relatively small on the outside, but the inside is the second largest, right behind Titan. Most of the loot can be sold for respectable amounts, and the map houses a large amount of entities since it has a spawn cap of 14.

It’s a fun planet to explore with friends and can be one of the most profitable places to go as well. The scrap limit isn’t nearly as high as Titan’s, but it sells for a good amount of credits. It is constantly raining, which causes quicksand to spawn outside, albeit always in the same spots, meaning that the Rainy modifier can’t occur on March.
