With the release of Rise of the Floodborn comes new Enchanted Rare cards in Disney Lorcana, each with unique art and powerful moves. While their counterparts have the same abilities and traits, the alternate art is generally stunning with foil. With these cards, you’re sure to draw attention, however the odds are slim.

Out of all the Enchanted rare cards, some are better than others. Aside from the beautifully-treated artwork, the cards have value in how they affect the game itself, depending on what strategy you use. Here are all the Enchanted rare cards in Disney Lorcana and where they fall in the rankings.

12 Cinderella

Ballroom Sensation

Out of all the Rise of the Floodborn Enchanted cards, Cinderella is the least impressive. While the art is gorgeous, especially with the foil, she unfortunately doesn’t do much. She has Singer three, meaning that she can sing songs with a cost of three or less for free, but otherwise, that’s it.

With a cost of one, she can be played in the first turn. She can also be inked, though you’re probably going to want to show off the art instead. She quests for one lore, so she’s a good option to play to start earning lore early.

11 Hercules

Divine Hero

Hercules, Divine Hero, is an immensely strong character. He has six strength and Resist, so all damage dealt to him is reduced by two. This is incredibly important since despite his strength, he only has three defense.

With a cost of six, it takes a while to play him from your hand. However, you can Shift him onto another Hercules card for a cost of four instead. When you play him, aim to boost his Resist so that he can last longer when challenging your opponent.

10 Namaari

Morning Mist

Namaari is an impressive card, as both a villain and a princess. With her ability, Blades, she can challenge ready characters. This makes her a valuable asset to your deck. She only quests for one lore, but she has an additional trait that sets her apart.

With Bodyguard, she may enter play exerted. Any opposing character that wants to challenge one of your own characters must first challenge Namaari. Bodyguard makes sure that you can protect other characters, and with four defense, she’s more likely to survive a challenge.

9 Pete

Bad Guy

Pete is a Bad Guy, but a good card. With Ward, your opponents cannot target Pete except to challenge him directly. When they do, they have their work cut out for them. He gets an additional two strength whenever you play an action, and when he has seven strength or more, he gains an additional two lore when questing.

You can stack abilities to make him even stronger, and he works well with Alice, Growing Girl. With a cost of five ink, he can enter play later in the game.

8 Shere Khan

Menacing Predator

Shere Khan requires a bit of preparation before entering play. However, once he’s there, the game gets much more interesting. Whenever one of your characters challenges another character, Shere Khan will help you gain one lore. He himself doesn’t have to challenge, but being in play is enough to apply the effect.

When you have several characters on the board, as well as several opposing characters to challenge, Shere Khan can help gather lore while banishing other characters. A good strategy can make this card shine.

7 Alice

Growing Girl

Alice, Growing Girl, has a lot of potential. While her initial strength is not very high, your other characters gain Support when she is played. This means that, whenever they quest, you can add their strength to another chosen character’s strength for the turn.

If you get Alice’s strength to ten or more, she gains an additional four lore when questing for the turn. With a good strategy, you can collect a hefty amount of lore in one turn. With a cost of three, you have plenty of time to set up.

6 Madam Mim

Purple Dragon

Madam Mim is a powerful Evasive character. With a strength of five and a defense of seven, she can deal almost as much damage as she can take. She can quest for four lore, but the cost to play her is steep.

When played, you’ll either need to banish Madam Mim, Purple Dragon, or return two of your own characters in play to your hand. With a cost of five, it’s no small feat to play her. However, once in play, she can devastate your opponents.

5 Lady Tremaine

Imperious Queen

Lady Tremaine, Imperious Queen, has a high cost of six to play, but she can Shift onto another Lady Tremaine card for a cost of four instead. She quests for two lore and and when played, each opponent needs to choose and banish one of their characters in play.

This is an excellent move to make when your opponent has several key characters on the board, as you can be rid of at least one. Evening the playing field is vital to success and winning the game.

4 Beast

Relentless

The Beast also has a high cost of six, but he has high defense and good strength. The real appeal is not that he quests for two lore, but that he can be readied whenever an opposing character is damaged.

This makes him a vital character in multiplayer, as it allows you to ready him if two other opponents challenge each other. Second WInd is a powerful opportunity to continue challenging or questing for lore. You can easily accumulate a large amount of lore by continuously readying Beast.

3 Sisu

Divine Water Dragon

Sisu is an excellent card to have and play. Aside from the stunning foil artwork, she has a cost of four and quests for two lore. Additionally, with I Trust You, you can look at the top two cards in your deck when she quests. You can put one into your hand and the other back on the bottom.

Card search is a valuable asset depending on how you deck is built, and finding the cards you need when you need them is imperative to success.

2 Arthur

Wizard’s Apprentice

Arthur, Wizard’s Apprentice, is a strong Enchanted rare to have. The gorgeous artwork is nothing compared to the ability that the card posses. Arthur, when he quests, may return a chosen character to your hand to gain two lore. If you have enough ink, you can play that character back immediately to reap the benefits.

When paired with cards that allow you to card search when played or removed from play, Arthur becomes a worthy asset to the deck. A strong strategy can make him even more useful in your quest to victory.

1 Snow White

Well Wisher

Snow White, Well Wisher, has a high cost, but the cost of six can be reduced to four if you Shift her onto another Snow White card. With a strong defense of five, she can safely quest for two lore or challenge weaker cards.

Additionally, with Wishes Come True, questing with Snow White allows you to return a character to your hand from the discard pile. This is a tactic best used later in the game when you want to bring powerful allies back to help win the game.
